Alia Bhatt was part of the Bollywood contingent attending the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya, adorned in traditional attire. Her saree held special significance with a border depicting embroidered scenes from the Ramayan, featuring images of Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman, and the Ram Setu. Additionally, Alia Bhatt, along with Ranbir Kapoor, was seated alongside Akash Ambani, his wife Shloka, and Katrina Kaif during the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya.

Alia, mindful of the cold weather, also brought a matching shawl and a purse crafted from the same material as the saree. Her actor-husband, Ranbir Kapoor, accompanied her, dressed in a white kurta-pyjama paired with a cream shawl.

Currently, Alia is filming for the movie “Jigra,” while Ranbir is enjoying the success of his recent film “Animal.” His upcoming project is Nitesh Tiwari’s “Ramayan,” where he will portray the character of Ram. Initially, there were reports of Alia being approached to play the role of Sita alongside Ranbir, but Sai Pallavi has now been officially confirmed for the part.
