BYD Introduces Two New Electric SUVs in Pakistan
KARACHI: Mega Motor Company (MMC), in collaboration with leading new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer BYD, has introduced two electric SUVs — the BYD Sealion 7 and BYD Atto 2 — during a dealership event held in Lahore.
At the launch, Lei Jian, Country Head of BYD Pakistan, emphasized that the arrival of these vehicles reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to revolutionizing Pakistan’s automotive market by offering globally proven electric vehicle technology to local consumers.
“We are optimistic about Pakistan’s mobility future, which is electric, sustainable, and designed for long-term growth,” said Danish Khaliq, Vice President of Sales and Strategy at BYD Pakistan — MMC.
As part of its push towards greener transportation, BYD-MMC is also working with HubcoGreen to develop Pakistan’s first nationwide NEV charging corridor. The project aims to cover roughly 1,300 kilometers from Karachi to Peshawar, linking major cities and motorways across the country.
