Hania Aamir Reflects Honestly on Grief and Panic in 2025
“2025 delivered both extreme challenges and incredible blessings,” the actor reflects
Actor Hania Aamir has spoken candidly about experiencing panic, loss and personal growth in a reflective end-of-year message, describing 2025 as a time that brought both her toughest challenges and her most meaningful moments.
Sharing a carousel of 20 images on Instagram on Sunday — featuring behind-the-scenes shots and time spent with friends — Aamir accompanied the post with a thoughtful caption about how the year transformed her understanding of resilience.
“I truly thought I was strong enough to endure any kind of grief without being shaken,” she wrote. “But life proved otherwise, and that realisation changed who I am.”
She went on to say that 2025 showed her just how delicate self-belief can be, and that true strength often reveals itself only when it is pushed to its limits.
Aamir reflected on the gap between how someone appears outwardly and what they may be battling internally, noting that it is possible to smile on set, pose with flowers and seem perfectly fine while privately dealing with a racing heart, a tight chest and silent waves of panic. At times, she said, resilience simply means standing firm.
She described the year as one filled with emotionally exhausting nights — moments when she was “the steady voice for so many,” yet quietly wished someone would answer a call just to make the night bearable. At the same time, 2025 also brought unexpected kindness, fulfilment and reassurance.
“Opportunities arrived I didn’t even realise I had reached for. Work felt like a blessing. Happiness came softly,” she wrote, adding that love showed up in calm, grounding forms. She shared that she ended the year away from home, surrounded by people who reminded her that warmth can return gently.
Concluding her reflection, Aamir characterised the year as both a trial and a lesson in endurance. “This year was a test from God… I laughed. I cried. I kept moving forward. And somehow, I made it through,” she wrote.
She closed with a powerful line: “Some wounds weren’t meant to be earned, only endured. And that is enough to start again.”
Aamir’s reflection comes as she continues to gain attention for her drama serial Meri Zindagi Hai Tu, in which she stars alongside Bilal Abbas Khan.
