Rohit Shetty: Saif Ali Khan never asked me to take Sara Ali Khan in ‘Simmba’, she came and begged for the role

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh‘s first born Sara Ali Khan has been the talk of the town ever since she made her Bollywood debut with ‘Kedarnath‘. Her unique fashion sense, candour and simplicity has made her media’s darling. Sara had a rare stroke of luck for a newcomer, as she even bagged a role in Rohit Shetty’s cop-drama ‘Simmba‘, opposite Ranveer Singh.

Recently the trio appeared on the premiere episode of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show‘ where both Rohit and Ranveer revealed interesting stories about Sara. Shetty shared how the starlet impressed him by begging for a role in his film.

“She came and begged me for a role in Simmba. Hearing this, I started crying. Imagine, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter begging me for a role. Saif never once asked me to take Sara for Simmba,” Rohit said.
