Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson has thanked Pakistani fans for all the love they have showed for his latest release ‘Hobbs and Shaw’.
The film not just received a massive response in Pakistan on its opening, but the movie has raked in PKR 32.2 million making it the third biggest ever opening for an English film in Pakistan.
Johnson, in a Twitter conversation, replied to a Pakistani movie-goer, who revealed that his movie has been creating record in the country. Johnson said that he is ‘thankful’ to Pakistanis for all the love.

According to the box-office report, ‘Hobbs and Shaw’ have registered the second-biggest opening day of 2019 beating Pakistani films ‘Wrong No. 2’ and ‘Chhalawa’ by huge margins. Reportedly, the opening day numbers for are the third biggest of all time for English films after ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and ‘Fast 8’.
The movie is a spin-off of Fast and Furious franchise. It stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Jason Stathom and Idris Alba in the prominent roles. The film opened in cinemas on July 31.
